A lot of people regularly use some type of chamois cream.  There are several on the market, but they all have one thing in common - they're expensive.  

Chamois creams are used to prevent, or help cure chafing from cycling shorts.  Cycling shorts have a padded chamois to take sweat away, while keeping things comfortable - where it counts.  Dr. Naylor's has been kind of a secret of the "old timers", but it works very well.  Beside being very effective, it is much less expensive than other specific chamois creams. Did I mention it works fabulously (is that even grammatically correct)?

I was turned on to it by some guys that would use it when riding the (now defunct), "24 hours of MOAB".  They swore by it.  Having used it for a many years now, I can attest to the benefits and effectiveness.  It may sound kind of silly, but it is serious business.

For the record; this is a great product, for many uses.  Seriously - everyone should have this stuff.  When the tins are empty, they also make for great "specialty"  containers - for things like jelly-beans.  Just an idea.....................
